Our History
Central Coast NSW Legacy was presented with its Charter of Legacy on 29 June 1951. It is an autonomous club which supports veterans’ families residing on the Central Coast, NSW.
This role is performed by its members (Legatees) and employed staff under direction of an elected Board of Directors. In performing this role it is guided by its Constitution, the Legacy Statutes, Legacy Australia Constitution and the Code of Legacy.
Central Coast NSW Legacy is a leader in providing support and care for the veterans’ families through a wide range of advocacy services.

Central Coast NSW Legacy will be acknowledged as a leading not for profit charitable organisation focused on supporting the families of Veterans’, who gave their lives or health as members of the Australian or Allied Defence Forces.
Central Coast NSW Legacy strives to ensure that the families of Veterans’ can fully realise their potential, as no family should suffer financially or socially as a result of their loved one’s injury or death from military service
OUR OBJECTIVES
We strive to make a difference.

to provide care for the beneficiaries of those who served their country, namely Veterans, who gave their lives or health on operational service or following service, and the Australian Defence Force members who died in service;

to provide information and appropriate support, as well as assistance by way of referral to relevant community, local, State and Federal-based government services, as applicable, concerning applications for financial grants and other appropriate financial assistance; and

to support residential accommodation for Legacy beneficiaries.
